Field Trips
Same Spirit, Different Setting
Tuesday nights are the center of the club. Field Trips give us a little more room around them: hikes, walks, breakfasts, museum visits, and other chances to spend time together beyond the circle.
The outings are simple by design. We pick a place, make time to talk, and see what comes of it.
Two Summer Hikes
In July, we walked from Baldwin Hills Scenic Overlook toward Kenneth Hahn Park, taking the switchbacks at a talking pace and ending with snacks.
In August, we met in Playa Vista for a shaded hillside loop around Bluff Creek. Eight of us walked, talked, and made a few new connections along the way.
The summer hikes did what we hoped Field Trips would do: they gave us time to get to know one another beyond the room.
Coming Up
More Field Trips are in the works for fall--a breakfast, a labyrinth visit, and whatever else the group comes up with.
Upcoming outings and RSVPs are posted on Luma and announced by email. Join the list to hear when the next one is ready.
